After presenting his work in Miami, Kreisler Gallery will show Jorge Palacios's sculptures at International Fair Art Padova 2011, 22nd Mostra Mercato d'Arte Moderna e Contemporanea. It will take place from 11th to 14th November, in Padua city.

For a new year, the Secretaría de Estado de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo of the Ministry of Foreing Affairs and Cooperation has asked for a sculpture by Jorge Palacios to be given as "Cultural Diversity" prize of the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID). The presentation will take place during the closing ceremony of the 56th edition of the SEMINCI, Valladolid International Film Week, on 29th October. It will be broadcasted on La 2, TVE.

From 25th to 28th, 2011, Jorge Palacios will participate in Maderalia Fair, Valencia, performing a  sculpting action organized and sposored by Comercial Pazos and Makita

Palacios has been invited to participate in the VI National Congress of the Protection of the Wood, organized by Tecnalia Research & Innovation, with his conference: "Perdurability of the wooden outdoors sculpture. Jorge Palacios, with science as an ally". His speech will take place on September 29th, 2011, in Palacio de Miramar, San Sebastián, Spain.

The Sculpture Network has organized a meeting for art critics, curators and sculptors, promoted by the expert in sculpture, Miguel Cereceda, to visit, this Saturday July 16 2011, the artworks are forming part of the exhibition "Dialogue fo the curve". Click here for more information .

Palacios participates with internationally renowed artists as Andy Warhol, Jean Tinguely, Kazimir Malevich, Sol Lewitt, Nancy Spero and others  who are at the current art scene as Damien Hirst, Gilbert & George, Yoko Ono, Michelangelo Pistoletto, John Baldessari and Erwin Wurm. From May 12 to July 24, 2011.

From 25th March to August 2011, the streets of Toledo will host the exhibition: Itinerant Dialogues of the curve, by the sculptor Jorge Palacios. The sculptures will be installed outdoors gradually in different places of the city as Puerta de Bisagra, Puerta del Sol, Museum of Santa Cruz and indoor Palace of Fuensalida. The sculptor has conceived the exhibition as a route in wich each sculpture could establish a dialogue with the surrounding environment. This is essential for Palacios, who has selected everyone sites taking into account their peculiarities in order to enhance the interaction between contemporary art and these environments. The exhibition is supported by the Ministry of Culture of  the Junta de Comunidades de Castilla - La Mancha with the collaboration of the Culture Department of City of Toledo.

Jorge Palacios has been invited by Protecma magazine in order to develop a series of technical articles about his sculptural process. Collected in a special section called "Studio", they will be published in every issue of the magazine during a year. First of them, titled "Jorge Palacios, with science as an ally. A process of creating wood sculptures out of ordinary " has been published in no. 48 and could be found  in the section of Publications . 

The next 16 December 2010, Jorge Palacios will give a lecture tittled "Wood as material for contemporary sculpture" to students of the School of Art and High of Design of Segovia (EASD) as guest artist into the Series "Monotema". The event will take place at 5:00 p.m. at the headquarter of EASD, in Juan Bravo st., no.33, Segovia.

The State Secretary for the Agencia Española de Cooperación Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation has again requested Palacios to make a sculpture for the prizewinners of the “Cultural Diversity” Award, in the 55th edition of SEMINCI, Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid 2010.
Delivery of sculpture will be hold at the Closing Ceremony on Saturday 30 October 2010. “Seed” is a carved piece of ebony from Cameroon, wich was already given as a prize in its first edition of 2009 to the American film director Cherien Dabis, by “Amreeka”, award-winning in Sundance and Cannes Festivals too.

Next Friday 24 September 2010 Jorge Palacios will give the lecture along with the architect Rafael Beneytez, the designer Alberto Liévore, the Director of Diseño Interior magazine, José M ª Faerna and AHEC Executive Director, Michael Snow. The lectures will take place from 12:00 h. in the church of San Juan de los Caballeros, Segovia.

Du 23 au 26 septembre 2010, l’oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera présente à l’exposition  "La créativité avec le bois" organisée par l’ American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), à laquelle participeront également l’architecte Rafael Beneytez et le dessinateur Alberto Liévore.

Le prochain 29 juin 2010, à 18h30, Subastas Segre mettra en vente aux enchères la sculpture de Jorge Palacios : 'Sans titre', réalisée en 2003 en bois dit "palo de hierro", au sein de la vente Peinture et Sculpture contemporaines.

Le sculpteur Jorge Palacios participera à l’exposition "Collective 2010" de la Galerie Kreisler (rue Hermosilla nº 8, Madrid). Vernissage ce mercredi 9 juin à 19h30. L’exposition sera ouverte au public du 9 juin au 31 juillet, du lundi au vendredi de 10h30 à 14h00 et de 17h00 à 21h00. Le samedi de 10h30 à 14h00.

Le 20 mai 2010, Jorge Palacios donnera une conférence sur le thème: "La technologie du bois au service de l’art", dans le cadre du Vième Printemps desRencontres Culturelles de Tórtola.

Le 6 mars 2010, la Conseillère Culturelle, Tourisme et Artisanat de la Junta de Comunidades de Castilla - La Mancha, visitera l’atelier du sculpteur Jorge Placios pour montrer son appui au travail créatif de l’artiste. Elle sera accompagné lors de sa visite par différentes personnalités du monde de la culture, des arts et de l’entreprise.

Next Wednesday 27 January 2010, the Provincial Delegate for Culture, Tourism and Handicraft of Guadalajara, the Mayor of Hita and the Coordinator of Youth Institute of Castilla – La Mancha, will visit the studio of the sculptor Jorge Palacios, located in Hita (Guadalajara), to show their support at the creative work of the artist. At the same time, several guests from the world of culture, art and business will assist.

The prestigious international interior design firm will rely on some Palacios’s works in its "Ottima 2" catalogue. Steelcase, which has relied on architectures of Antón García Abril on other occasions, now includes several works by the sculptor Palacios in its top management line.

From Tuesday 3 to Friday 6 November 2009, the sculptor Jorge Palacios will be present in the International Fair FIMMA.

Du 16 septembre au 31 octobre 2009, l’oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera présente à l’exposition "Contraste" de la Galerie Kreisler de Madrid (rue Hermosilla nº 8). La galerie commence sa saison d’expositions avec cette collective à laquelle participeront une selection de ses artistes ayant acquis une réputation nationnale et internationnale.
 

Les sculptures de Jorge Palacios seront exposées dans la Salle Mirador du Musée Thyssen Bornemisza de Madrid le prochain 30 septembre 2009.

La Secrétaire d’État de la Agencia Española de Coooeración Internacional para el Desarrollo (AECID) du Ministère des Affaires Étrangères a sollicité à Palacios la réalisation d’une sculpture pour la remise des prix de la "Diversité Culturelle" de la 54ème édition de la SEMINCI, Semana Internacional de Cine de Valladolid 09.
 

Du 8 au 13 septembre 2009, l’oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera présente à la Foire Internationnale d’Art Contemporain OPEN ART FAIR, qui aura lieu à Utrecht.

Du 12 au 16 février 2009, l’oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera présente au stand de la Fondation DeArte. Palacio de Congresos de Madrid.

Du 5 au 9 décembre 2008, l´oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera exposée au Foire Internationale d'art contemporaine LINEART. 

Du 3 au 7 décembre 2008, l´oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera exposée au stand de la Gallérie Kreisler.

Du 9 au 14 septembre 2008, l´oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera exposée au stand 4.23 de la Foire Internationale Open Art Fair Utrecht.

À partir de ce prochain mois de juillet, au fin nous poudrons trouver Jorge Palacios dans Artsfacts.net, ranking international, dirigé aux collectionneurs, critiques et musées, qui situe aux artistes selon sa cotation dans le marchée internationale de l’art contemporain.

La Corporation III Millénaire (Wilmington, DE, USA) a sélectionné Jorge Palacios, parmi plus de 2.000 artistes internationaux, pour lui attribuer une bourse à la Fondation Karrvaz, entité rattachée à la UNESCO.

Le mercredi 14 mai, Jorge Palacios devrait participer à Madrid au Jury du troisième Concours de Nouvelles Tendances: Simulacro 08.

Du 7 au 19 Novembre 2007, l´oeuvre de Jorge Palacios sera exposée au Pavillon 1 niveau 3, stand A-74 de la Foire Internationale FIMM.

Le 26 Octobre 2007, Jorge Palacios participera à la Rencontre "Les besoins de l´Art Contemporain dans la région Castilla - La Mancha".

Le mardi 23 Octobre 2007, Jorge Palacios devrait participer à Guadalajara au Jury du Concours de Sculpture Publique "L´espace qu´occupe le sida".

Comme il est mentionné dans l’article publié dans « La Nueva Alcarria »  du 13 juillet 2006, un projet de sculpture monumentale est préparation et concerne l’une des rotondes faisant partie d’un nouveau projet réalisé par le « Grupo QHP », dans la municipalité de Tortola de Henares, Guadalajara.
